From bench test PCBs to Evaluation Modules and Connectors

PCBs allow engineers to conduct bench testing on Credit Card, Entellion and VR420A batteries.
Vertical and right-angled connectors are available for VR420A batteries, as well as right-angled connectors for Credit Card batteries.
Evaluation module from Texas Instruments works with Credit Card, Entellion and VR420A batteries, connecting them to a PC to read/log battery data.

Cables, adapters, and connectors

ULTRALIFE produce a limited number of cables off-the-shelf but have the ability to provide custom cable solutions when custom batteries and systems development work is provided.
Power adapters can be used to connect the batteries to USB ports, cigarette lighter sockets, or HP laptops for charging.
Panel mount connectors are also available.

Fly lead cables and adapters

ULTRALIFE manufacture shielded and non-shielded fly lead cables that are compatible with its Lightweight Wearable Packs.
ULTRALIFE supplies a limited number of cables off-the-shelf but has the ability to provide custom cable solutions when custom batteries and systems development work is provided.
An MBITR adapter is also available to provide unregulated battery voltages of 16.8 – 10VDC to PRC-148 and PRC-152 radios.

Connect the battery to inverters and chargers

A Wiring Harness has been produced for use with URB12400-U1-SMB and URB12450-U1-SMB batteries.
Anderson Connector – Connects the battery to the inverters used in most medical carts.
Molex connector – Connects the battery to a separate charger if required. The smart U1 can be charged using most regular 2-stage lead-acid battery chargers.

Ensure uninterruptible power and track the state-of-charge of batteries in both solutions

When AC mains is not available or convenient, Ultralife has designed hold-up batteries for both the X5 Power System (as standard) and X5-SuperLite (optional) that can provide up to five minutes of power.
The UCA-X5 is a battery cradle that is used to mount the URB-X5 battery to the side of the X5 Power System.
The X5 Power System can utilize up to two hot-swappable batteries and a hold-up battery. Multiple X5-SuperLites can be used, each with a hot-swappable battery. Ultralife's SOCI's allow you to quickly check the state-of-charge of each battery.
